The Team are just going over The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Some cruel steep climbs before the last 200 miles to the finnish. Everyone is now tired and can't wait for a proper sleep and to rehidrate properly. The up hill sections are eating into the record attempt and it is getting very tense. Posted on June 23, 2011 They are steaming on and have passed Springfield USA but Bart Simpson was not there to welcome them. The way they are going they must have visited Springfield and picked up some Kryptonite. Heavy hail storms on and off all day did not ruin their pace. Posted on June 22, 2011 Damian has called us at midday to let us know that they are half way there with only 1500 miles to go. He has just finnished nearly 8 hours on the bike and will get 6 hours rest before he goes again. Posted on June 21, 2011
