Well after the excitement of last week with Damian finishing the Race Across America in the winning team, we are back to very normal issues.

The changes to the road system around the practice have come into force. Some of these are temporary for two weeks and the trafic lights outside have not helped this morning. The permanent road system should be in place within 14 days and we can all then get back to some normality.

In the early hours of this morning Damian and the Strategic Lions finnished the Race Across America winning the team event.

They covered the 2989.5 miles in 5days 9hours and 14 minutes at an average speed of 23.13 miles per hour. This is just outside the all time record.

Sorry about the phone being down for the first hour and thank you to our early patients for bearing with us while we waited for normality to be restored.

Looks like large parts of Doncaster were down for 2 hours.

The Team are just going over The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Some cruel steep climbs before the last 200 miles to the finnish. Everyone is now tired and can't wait for a proper sleep and to rehidrate properly.

The up hill sections are eating into the record attempt and it is getting very tense.

They are steaming on and have passed Springfield USA but Bart Simpson was not there to welcome them. The way they are going they must have visited Springfield and picked up some Kryptonite.

Heavy hail storms on and off all day did not ruin their pace.
