The proud team at The Orthodontic Centre, Doncaster have recently been awarded one of the highest accolades by the British Dental Association.

The Chequer Road based specialist practice has been awarded the British Dental Association Good Practice Award to the Gold Standard.  The Gold Standard has only been awarded to a select few practices within the country, which were founder members 10 years ago.  This award represents the practice’s long standing commitment to patient care and communication.  The Good Practice Award is a quality assurance standard that recognises best practice within dental practices.

The practice principal Dr Damian Bourke said “The continued commitment and hard work of all the team have enabled us to attain this most prestigious award.  We pride ourselves in the great care and high standards we provide our patients as well as the high quality of the orthodontic treatment.  This award makes the whole team feel that our hard work and commitment has been worth it.”

Dr Bourke received the original award from Jack Charlton and since then annual inspections and reviews by the British Dental Association have been extremely complimentary.

The Orthodontic Centre was established in 1998, providing the highest quality orthodontic care for the children and adults of Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Humberside.  A thank you book held in reception is testament to the great smiles created over the years.

Orthodontics is a specialist branch of dentistry. It involves monitoring the growth of the teeth, face and jaws and timely intervention with braces in order to straighten the teeth to achieve a healthy attractive smile.

The practice uses state of the art equipment imported for the USA along with the latest digital x-ray technology, which helps them to give the best care available.
